Deity Prayer Flags (Padmasambhava, Windhorse, Milarepa, Tara, and Kalachakra)
deity prayer flag set

A set of five prayer flags, with a different Buddhist deity or symbol on each

Prayer flags are ubiquitous in Tibet, flying in the wind as as symbol of veneration and as a way of sending prayers into the world.

This unique set of prayer flags contain some of the most important deities, saints and sacred symbols in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.

Padmasambhava on blue, the Windhorse on white, Milarepa on red, Tara on green and the Kalachakra symbol on yellow. The five flag colors represent the five elements: Blue (earth), White (water), Red (fire), Saffron (infinite space), and Green (cosmic winds). Each one is printed from hand carved woodblocks in the traditional manner. Enjoy the slow fading of color as they hang in the elements. To dispose of old flags with respect, please burn them. Set of five.

This purchase helps to provide food, shelter, and psychological support to former Tibetan political prisoners.

Each flag is 13'' high and 11'' wide (33 cm x 28 cm), and the combined length is 6' (1.8m).
