Buddhists use assorted statues and images of bodhisattvas as a way to reflect on enlightenment. Each of the deities represents different aspects of the Buddha and his teachings. They are used as an aid for meditation or function as a protection. Each figurine has been finely crafted from Turquoise powder and finished with black antiquing.
Vajrasattva represents primordial purity -- the belief that our negativity is extrinsic to the mind, and that in its depths the mind is spacious and pure.
Vajrasattva holds in his right hand a thunderbolt at his heart, representing compassion, while in the other he holds a bell representing wisdom.
