Brewing tip: Once you've made this chai on a stovetop, you then have to strain out the tea and spices. How to do this effectively baffled us at first, because the spices are ground very finely and they tend to clog conventional tea-strainers. The answer? Use a Finum Brewing Basket! Put the basket in the pot of milk and water, with the chai mix inside the basket. Simmer for three minutes, remove the basket and -- voila! -- perfect, prefiltered chai!
